Dedicate a full week to Tanzania’s most famous wildlife ecosystem on a private safari designed around seasonal Great Migration movements. The route is adjusted according to the month of travel, current herd movements and practical wildlife conditions rather than using one fixed migration location throughout the year. Extended time in the Serengeti gives your guide greater flexibility to track wildebeest and zebra while also exploring for predators and resident wildlife.
A clear day-by-day look at your safari experience.
Travel or fly toward the Serengeti region selected for your season. Meet your private guide and begin the first wildlife drive, using current information to explore for migrating herds, predators and resident species.
Spend the day exploring areas where current migration activity is most promising. Look for wildebeest and zebra concentrations while also searching for lions, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas, elephants and other wildlife.
Continue migration-focused wildlife viewing with flexibility to travel between productive areas. The extended itinerary allows time to wait at important sightings and observe herd and predator behavior.
Explore another section of the Serengeti ecosystem, balancing migration tracking with resident wildlife and predator searches. Your route is adapted according to local reports and seasonal conditions.
Use the additional day to revisit productive wildlife areas or travel farther within the seasonal operating region. This flexibility can significantly improve the quality of a migration-focused safari.
Continue exploring the wider Serengeti ecosystem, observing resident animals and seasonal movements while allowing your guide to adjust plans around the best available wildlife information.
Enjoy a final morning wildlife drive before transferring to the appropriate airstrip or onward travel point. Continue according to your confirmed post-safari arrangements.
